Mobile Phone Found in Vadodara Central Jail, Complaint Lodged Against Four Inmates

A recent discovery at Vadodara Central Jail has raised concerns, as a mobile phone was found hidden near a tree in Barrack No. 6. The phone, a golden color without a SIM card, was discovered during an interrogation of Jeevan Chaturbhai Solanki, a prisoner from barrack number 8 in Circle Division Yard 12.

Solanki reportedly confessed to using the phone along with three other inmates, Dheeraj Deepakbhai Kanojia, Alpeshbhai Wagwani, and Satish Bhikhabhai Padhiyar. In response to this revelation, the jailer filed a complaint against the four prisoners at the Raopura police station.

The incident has raised concerns about security measures within the jail premises, prompting authorities to take swift action. Investigations are ongoing to determine how the phone was smuggled into the jail and whether any other inmates were involved in the illegal activity.
